5 Ways to Wear Animal Print This Season

Can I let you in on a little secret? I’ve never been a huge fan of animal print. So to think I’d be writing a blog post on all the ways to wear animal print is a sure sign things change!

It’s not all animal print actually; Snakeskin and zebra print have always been good in my book. But fall’s leopard print trend is one I’ve previously hated—until now.

The thing is, now that fall has ushered in so many leopard print options, there are many lovely prints to choose from!

And if you’re not into a head-to-toe look, there are plenty of cute accessories, too.

If you’re considering dipping your toes into this trend this season, read on for 5 ways to wear animal print.

Try a Leopard Print Dress

If you love this trend, go all out with a cheetah print dress. This dress is one of my current fall favorites as it’s extremely comfortable (runs very large, size down!) and you can wear it when it’s warm out since it’s sleeveless but also layer a sweater it when it cools down.

HOW TO STYLE IT: I styled this animal print dress with booties, but if you live somewhere cooler you could also layer a longsleeve top underneath.

Go for an Animal Print Cardigan

One of the fun ways to wear animal print is with a leopard print cardigan! I’ve spotted these in so many colors, too, which makes it a fun statement piece to add to your wardrobe.

HOW TO STYLE IT: Wear your animal print cardigan with something simple underneath; like a cute lace cami like this one and a pair of jeans.

Don’t pair your cheetah print cardigan with even more animal print. Stick to basics and let your statement piece shine!

HOW TO STYLE IT: Don’t mix prints or more animal print with your skirt. Instead, let the skirt do all the talking and try a plain cami, crop top or bodysuit. Try black, white or nude for easy outfit pairings.

Dip Your Toes in with Animal Print Shoes

Before the whole animal print trend became so huge, I dipped my toes in—no pun intended!!—-with a pair of leopard print shoes.

This is such a fun way to try out the trend without committing to a huge print all over your body.
