How to Style Paper Bag Waist Shorts, The Easiest Summer Trend
Summer is here! And by far one of my favorite, and easiest summer trends to pull off has to be paper bag waist shorts.
This easy, cinched style is SO flattering, comfortable (thank you, elastic waist) and the shorts are typically a good length, too.
If you don’t have a pair of paper bag waist shorts, today I’m going to show you a few of my current favorites and how easy it is to style them!
How to Style Paper Bag Waist Shorts
These paper bag waist shorts were a fun find from Abercrombie (check out the full Abercrombie try-on haul.)
I love the drawstring waist with big bow in the front, which is the girly hallmark of pretty much any pair of paper waist shorts.
These also have pockets! And the fabric is a thick chambray material.
I paired these paper bag waist shorts with a white lace cami, which is a nice contrast from the voluminous look of the shorts.
It’s a super easy summer outfit, and comfortable, too!
One of my very first pair of paper bag waist shorts was this khaki pair from Romwe, which I got on Amazon!
It was my first time purchasing from the brand so I went through Amazon, as I often do, when first trying out a new brand.
These shorts are a soft, silky fabric that’s SUPER lightweight, perfect for hot summer days. It’s such an easy paper bag shorts outfit to recreate!

These purple paper bag waist shorts are an absolutely BEAUTIFUL color in person. They’re from Chicwish and a lovely, dressier material.

These shorts feature a much smaller bow than the others if you are looking for something a bit more subtle. They also come in a few colors and, like the others, are quite comfortable.
For this paperbag shorts outfit, I went with a black bodysuit, but they would also look cute worn with a crop top or cami, another way I have worn this look.
This last pair of summer shorts isn’t technically a paperbag waistband since it isn’t ruched at the waist, but I had to share them since they are a similar style.
These are another great Abercrombie find that are cute, comfortable, have pockets and are an easy pull-on style.
