Mila’s floral nursery has easily become my favorite room in the house. Sebastian’s nursery was a labor of love, and this one was the same. It was a little bittersweet transforming this space from a boy nursery to a girl, but all in all I love the soft, feminine feel of this space!

I knew I wanted to do a floral nursery but was really nervous about committing to the wallpaper. I’ve never wallpapered anything before and loved the idea of it but was worried I may get sick of it. I ordered a sample from Spoonflower on Etsy and fell in LOVE! I knew right away this was the one.

We reused the crib and dresser from Sebastian’s nursery so all I really needed to shop for was accent pieces to update the space from blue to pink. I fell in love with the Monique Lhuillier for Pottery Barn Kids nursery collection and had to have this gorgeous tulle bed skirt.

Everything else slowly came together; like Sebastian’s nursery I wanted it to be a soft feel. You can sink your feet into this plush rug and I love the ethereal feel of these curtains. You can also drape these several different ways!

The finishing touch were the cushions c/o Lorena Canals Design. They are plush, pretty and (best part!) completely machine washable. They really add a beautiful accent to the room. I also have this Lorena Canals ombré throw in pink on the glider and always grab it when I go cuddle Sebastian at night (he’s currently going through a sleeping-on-the-floor phase).
