Ahhh, there’s nothing like spring in AZ where it’s totally cold in the mornings but you’re melting by afternoon!
This can make getting dressed a little complicated which is why my go-to is cute cardigan outfits for spring. They’re easy for transitioning from morning to afternoon, or from cold a/c to the warm outdoors.
These cute cardigan outfits are so easy to re-create, which is what I love about them most. You can pretty much use your existing wardrobe to get the look.
Of course, I’ve added links to some of my favorites if you’re missing some of these pieces in your wardrobe.
Cute Cardigan Outfits for Spring
All-Black Cardigan Outfit
It may be spring, but you can never go wrong with all-black. It’s effortlessly chic and a hint of color with a cute cardigan gives this outfit simple style.
I’m wearing some high-waisted Lululemons in this pic, paired with a simple black tank, a waterfall cardigan and Louboutins! It looks dressed up thanks to the heels, but I feel plentyyyyyy comfy in my yoga pants. Talk about a win.
Waterfall cardigans are one of my favorite cardigan styles–everyone should own one!
The tailoring is universally flattering and I just think it makes the outfit look so much more interesting. Right now, I’m loving this drape-front cardigan (22 colors and under $20!)
Striped Cardigan Outfit
A striped cardigan is such a great spring look! Naomi from Southern Sophisticated nailed it with a half-tucked tee and cute spring wedges.
I own this cardigan in black and wear it ALL the time. And, it comes in 12 colors!! There are some really cute spring colors right now, too. (For more T-shirt options, check out this post on the best tees from Nordstrom under $50)
Pastel Cardigan Outfit
Nothing says spring like pastels, so grab your favorite light-colored cardigan to channel that spring vibe!
It’s a simple look to recreate: jeans and a white top! But a nice designer belt, cute boots and chunky cardigan change up the classic look.
Chunky Cardigan Outfit
Depending on where you live, you may still be able to wear a cute, chunky cardigan this time of year. For that, I’m OBSESSED with this Barefoot Dreams cardigan. It is absolutely THE softest thing I have ever owned.
Neutral Cardigan Outfit
If you’re unsure about cardigan outfits for spring, try a neutral color. A cute pair of sandals keeps this look light.
Even though this is a knit cardigan, since it’s short-sleeved it’s a great spring or even summer look.
Cardigan with a Dress Outfit
This isn’t the easiest look to pull off; in fact, I’d say 9 times out of 10 it looks downright sloppy.
Too long of a cardigan and your dress ends up looking like a nightshirt.
Too short of a cardigan and you’re in major preppy territory.
So, what’s the secret? Personally, I like texture because it separates the cardigan from the dress in a visually interesting way.
If you live in a climate that calls for it, try a chunky cardigan over your summer dress to get the look.

Cardigan with a Lace Cami Outfit
My favorite look of the season is probably the cardigan paired with a sexy lace cami and I’m loving this look via Cella Jane. It’s just SO cute and easy to pull off. Plus, there are cute lace camis everywhere!
I just bought this lace cami from Abercrombie and am obsessed! There are so many cute options that I’ve been raving about.
I’m also loving this blush lace cami, under $50! Take it to spring with some cute wedges or sandals.
