These Are My Absolute Best Purchases of 2023
It’s part of my job to shop around. And it’s also part of my job to cull the best of the best.
From style and beauty to a few home finds, these are my absolute top picks for 2023. Enjoy!
1. Lunya Organic Pima Cotton Wide Leg Pants
These pants are IT. I wanted them for the longest time and they did not disappoint. They are floaty and incredibly soft and are a 100% re-purchase for me.
The fabric itself is incredible; they’re just very light and breezy. I know they are on the pricier side but I wear them weekly and LOVE them. Do be aware that they’re a little long (I’m 5’4″) but I mostly wear these around the house and let them drag.
2. Quince Silk Pajamas
These 100% washable silk pajamas are a dream! I am a hot sleeper and these have been a total game-changer.
They’re very well-priced, thanks to Quince cutting out the middlemen and offering luxury fabrics for less, and are heavy in the rotation for sleepwear.
If you’re new to silk pajamas, you’ll love sleeping in these. Just be aware they are wrinkle magnets.
3. CURRENTBODY Led Red Light Therapy Mask
If you’re planning on investing your skincare at all this year, you need to add a red light therapy mask to your routine.

4. YPB neoknit Joggers
These are the best joggers. Period. End of story. The fit and the fabric are excellent and look way more put together than other joggers. Plus, they’re from Abercrombie so super affordable!
5. Lovers and Friends Long Sleeve Top
Yes, this is a basic. But basics get worn and this one has gotten SO much love this year. It’s not nearly as cropped as it is in this photo, it hits the waist on me when wearing high-waisted clothing.
Don’t dismiss this one because it doesn’t look exciting; I am constantly reaching for this top and the fabric is SO soft!
6. Marc Fisher Knee-High Boots
I wasn’t planning on buying yet another pair of neutral knee-high boots but when I tried these on, I couldn’t take them off.
They’ve become bestsellers and my current go-to. They’re just very wearable and very comfortable and pretty much go with everything!
7. Alastin Tinted Sunscreen
I’m always on the hunt for a good tinted sunscreen and this one from Alastin has been wonderful.
It’s a tinted mineral sunscreen so no white cast + some makeup coverage. It’s very lightweight yet offers some coverage and glowy. It evens out my skintone and has SPF36.
8. Barefoot Dreams Blanket Dupe from Target
I have the OG Barefoot Dreams blanket and it’s great but sooooooo expensive. I bought this cozy blanket from Target when researching this article on the best Barefoot dreams blanket dupes and it’s been a household favorite!
It looks and feels soooo close to the original and is a fraction of the price.
9. Amazon Jogger Set
I have tried and purchased a crazy amount of jogger sets from Amazon. This one I own in two colors plus the shorts version of it!
The fabric is incredible and it looks really put together. I own it in black, taupe and a white shorts set for the summer. Highly reccomend!
10. Mini Space Heater
Maybe this isn’t exciting for you, but this little space heater has been used almost every day this winter!
It’s cute and compact and easy to take from one room to the next. It’s excellent for warming up my office and the bathroom on cold winter days.
11. Pillow Wedge
Where has this thing been all my life?! If you read in bed or watch TV in bed, you need to get yourself a pillow wedge.
It perfectly props you up—no more sinking into the bed while trying to sit up! It also serves as a nice little barrier between your headboard and bed so nothing falls through the cracks.
12. Heatless Curls
I didn’t believe heatless curls would work until I tried it—it’s magical! Such a great way to get curls without heat. It even got a little too curly when used overnight, so I use it primarily during the day.
13. Thigh Society Slip Shorts
My daughter wears skirts under dresses. Why don’t I?! Well, I do now and it’s so much more comfortable and freeing!

14. Bobbi Brown Cream Eyeshadow Sticks
Talk about simplifying your makeup routine! I fell in love with these cream eyeshadow sticks this year. There are matte and shimmer options (my current go-to is Golden Pink, shimmery) and it’s legit just one swipe and my eyeshadow is done!
15. Phone Tripod Selfie Stick
I have a lot of tripods and things since my job is content creation, but this compact phone tripod has made things SO much easier. And, it’s travel-friendly!
16. Silicone Face Cleanser
I used to own the FOREO cleanser, which is an excellent product but really pricey. If you want the effect the less, grab this silicone sonic face cleanser on Amazon. I’ve been loving it and it’s a fraction of the price!
17. On Cloud Sneakers
These sneakers have been so trendy this year I had to try them–worth the hype! They are SUPER lightweight and easy to slip on. I wear them for my daily walks and love them.
18. Amazon Crossbody Bag
I got this crossbody bag before our trip to Disneyworld and I was wildly impressed! The pebbled faux leather is beautiful and it’s so roomy.
20. Kiss Press on Falsies
I can’t do false lashes to save my life but these press-on falsies have been such a gamechanger! They’re like DIY lash extensions; I wear mine up to 7 days and it makes getting ready SO much quicker.
21. Magic Sofa Couch Covers
No, couch covers aren’t sexy. But when you have kids and pets, these are awesome. They’re a snug fit, a perfect match and blend right in!
22. Branch Verve Chair
It took me WAY too long to get a good office chair. I spend hours in it every day and still, I hestitated. This has been one of the best purchases of 2023, hands-down. It’s comfortable and excellent for petite frames.
