An Unbiased Honest Lilysilk Review

Is LILYSILK legit? If you’re researching the best silk pillowcases or where to buy luxury silk pajamas, you’ve likely heard of LILYSILK. But, is this company legit or just an influencer favorite brand that leaves something to be desired?

Read on to learn more about my experience with LILYSILK in this honest LILYSILK review.

What is Lilysilk?

LILYSILK sells women’s clothing, men’s clothing, bedding and accessories, too, made of natural premium materials. Primarily, that’s in the form of the highest quality silk fabric and cashmere, too.

You’ll find more than just silk pillowcases on the site and a wide range of products including pure silk blouses, dresses, silk bedding sets, robes, undergarments and more.

It’s important to note that not all silk is created equal. LILYSILK uses 100% Mulberry silk Grade 6A and is OEKO-TEK certified.

What does that mean exactly? Mulberry silk is largely considered to be the highest quality of silk as it comes from a specific species of silkworm that exclusively feeds on Mulberry tree leaves and are raised in captivity where the environment is controlled.

Mulberry silk is a natural fiber that’s hypoallergenic and odorless, too.

Lilysilk Silk Blouse Review

The first LILYSILK product I tried was this button-down silk blouse. I had seen many YouTubers talking about how gorgeous these blouses were so I was intrigued and had to order one for myself.

Since I had no actual experience with LILYSILK at the time, I ordered my blouse through Amazon.

Sometimes I do this when I’m unfamiliar with a brand, which I have mentioned previously in both my Chicwish review and my SHEIN review.

Now, however, I would order directly from the LILYSILK site for the best price + their pretty packaging! But, more on that later.

The blouse arrived quickly and fit true to size. For reference, I ordered this in a size small and (even though I’m a 34D) there was no gaping at the buttons.

The silk is incredibly soft and luxe looking and feeling. It comes in 10 colorways and 7 size options along with size customization + monogramming available for an extra charge.

A silk blouse is absolutely a luxury wardrobe staple for women that will stand the test of time.

Silk blouses are really versatile and look expensive, so I was excited to add one to my wardrobe.

This one, in particular, is LILYSILK’s #1 silk top with more than 60,000+ sold! It is made of 100% Grade 6A Mulberry silk and is OKEO-TEX certified, meaning it’s free of harmful chemicals.

I was a bit skeptical about this top since I had seen so many influencers promoting it, which is why I paid for it myself to give you my unbiased opinion. Overall, it’s absolutely gorgeous and a must-have for any woman’s wardrobe!

The fit is great and the fabric feels incredible. I recommend underarm sweat pads if you sweat as you will be able to easily see sweat through silk blouses.

Lilysilk Silk Pajamas Review

A few months after ordering my silk blouse, LILYSILK reached out to me and offered a few products to try out. Since I had already had a positive experience, I immediately said yes so I can share my honest LILYSILK review including pros and cons of some of their other products.

LILYSILK has lots of beautiful silk pajamas on their website. They make an excellent gift idea (especially with the holidays around the corner) as they look and feel ultra luxurious.

Silk is also an ideal fabric for sleeping since it is a natural fiber that repels moisture, keeping you cool at night.

I ordered this cute 22 Momme Lovely Silk Camisole Set in Rosy Pink. The color is perfection and it fits true to size (I went with a small).

The cami features adjustable straps and the shorts have a very skinny elastic waistband. This silk pajama set is versatile since you can easily wear this cami during the daytime, too!

I also got the 22 Momme Classic Mid Silk Robe in Rosy Pink. It hits below the knee and is an incredibly luxe robe.

Since I am 5’4”, however, I do wish I had gone with the Silk Mini Robe for a better fit as I find the midi length a bit awkward on me.

Lilysilk Blazer Review

Many people think of silk pajamas and pillowcases when it comes to LILYSILK and don’t realize there are several women’s fashion items, too!

I got the LILYSILK blazer and have to say—it is GORGEOUS. The Classic double-breasted blazer for women comes in black, grey and navy.

It features gorgeous gold buttons and an elegant, tailored fit. I sized up to a size 4 as I intend to layer this over other items. I normally take a 2 and think a 2 would have fit fine as well.

I was extremely pleased with the quality of this blazer. It is by far my favorite piece out of everything I got from LILYSILK!

The blazer also features soft silk lining, making it incredibly comfortable and chic. It is very much a Balmain blazer look for less, without sacrificing comfort or quality.

Lilysilk Clothing

Lilysilk is perhaps known for two things: The classic button-down blouse, as seen above, and silk pillowcases.

In my opinion, however, Lilysilk clothing is where they really shine.

If you love classic and elegant clothing in quality fabrics (no thanks, polyester!) then you’ll love shopping women’s clothing on Lilysilk.

This is the Lilysilk cashmere sweater with a detachable hoodie as shown above. It comes in two colorways and runs true to size.

I’m also loving this Lilysilk Silk Midi Shirt dress–it’s so classy and gorgeous!

It fits true to size as a shift dress, though I do wish I had sized down to an XS.

The belt is also removable; I styled mine with my Louis Vuitton belt.

The blazer shipped in a beautiful black and white box with ribbon. Everything was wrapped with tissue paper as well, making for a luxe unboxing experience.

LILYSILK Reddit and Customer Complaints

When Googling LILYSILK reviews, you’re bound to come upon someone’s complaints and negative reviews. This is par for the course for most any fashion brand!

Some people complained about shipping problems, though I did not personally experience any. I also read that some people were unsure if the items were 100% silk.

In my experience, the products were really nice quality. There were no unfinished threads, frayed edges or sloppy stitching like I see with a lot of fast fashion items.

Cons of Shopping Lilysilk

When putting together an unbiased honest LILYSILK review, you have to include some cons as well.

To be honest, my experience was quite positive but here are a few cons I could think of.

The first is the pricing. Most items on the website are priced over $100, which can be price prohibitive for some. That being said, you typically do get what you pay for and these products aren’t trendy, they’re intended to last you many, many years.

I also found the midi silk robe to be unflattering on me. This was mostly on me, however, since I am more on the petite side I should have gone for the mini robe instead.

Another “Con” is that silk can be harder to care for. Most luxury silk products require dry cleaning or washing by hand, so it’s not something you can just toss in the washing machine and go. If that doesn’t work for your lifestyle, that may be something to consider.
